Katana - Artist out of San Jose, CA

Katana grew up on the Eastside of San Jose, CA and went through a lot of life challenges that she had overcame and learn to grow from at a young age. She mentions how she moved to Texas for some time once she was older but decided that it wasn't for her so she moved back to her grandmas in San Jose. Katana had a father in the picture who was dealing with his own battles but still close to her and was someone she can call on whenever she needed him. The most important person who played a big role in her up bringing was her grandma who still to this day is in her life and continues to be her person as she's chasing her dreams. Katana explains that writing was her way of getting through things and soon turned into music. Music is like a drug that helps her pain vanish as she releases it into a art form where other people can relate to.
